TomTom VIO, the navigator for two-wheel driving lovers

Among the best technological innovations presented at the last IFA exhibition, it is worth paying some attention to TomTom Vio, the first satellite navigator designed especially for scooters.

The Dutch colossal of satellite navigation has already been on the market for some time with products dedicated to motorcycles and scooters, but TomTom Vio has some innovative and unique features.

The first thing to hit your eye is its attractive design and rounded shape. The coloured case in silicone is interchangeable and available in six different versions.

But the best thing about TomTom Vio is its connectivity to your smartphone, via bluetooth and a dedicated app. With its simple system of application to the mirror, you will have all the functions of a smartphone at hand, thanks to the touch screen, guaranteeing safe driving.

The device is waterproof, so it can be used in the rain and in non-optimal weather conditions, and the sensitivity of the touch screen allows for use also while wearing gloves.

Thanks to the turn-by-turn navigation technology, it is possible, via earphone or Bluetooth, to answer calls and speak continuing to visualise the route on the display.
Other features of TomTom Vio that are useful during use are the speed camera and the speed monitoring services in real time, with the screen that becomes red if the set speed limits are exceeded.

TomTom Vio can be bought at Euro169. For anyone thinking of buying one, we give you just a small tip: don’t forget to attach it to the mirror!
